CFMC supports disclosure of all contractual intents and purposes relative to contractually permitted provider discounts. Without disclosure of mutual contractual obligations, patient and network identification, access and steerage, and any financial differentials, discounts should not be granted by providers, nor taken by payors.
CFMC believes it is in the best interest of the providers and payors to pursue contractual relationships based on fair business practices and principles to ensure a mutually satisfactory business association.
